Drunk Classics: The Nutcracker

It’s Christmas Eve in the Silberhaus home and Grandfather Drosselmeyer is watching the demure Marie and the rambunctious Fritz. Drosselmeyer weaves together a story of a Cursed Royal Candy Family, an Evil NUT-obsessed Rat Witch, the struggles of being a kid awaiting the perfect Christmas gift, and a crazy RAT vs TOY Dance BATTLE!!!!

Add a bit of alcohol and a whole lot of Improv and you’ve arrived at our NUT-Tastic Holiday Special!

3rd Act takes a classic piece of literature and cuts it down to a manageable running time. One performer, picked via audience voting, will consume a few drinks to start the show. The abridged classic will be performed by a cast of six actors (one being a little tipsy!). Then we add a twist by building audience interaction by having THEM pick a donation level at any time during the performance (known as a “Drunken Rule of Order”), and the selected actor will be given a “rule” (within reason) they must abide by for the rest of the scene OR until the next donation is made and a new “rule” is imposed!

Our six performers will play a multitude of roles with quick costume changes and ever quicker improv drops-ins from the magical Christmas Box of IMPROV!
